Have you heard the gossip? Warwickshire Pride is having a March this year. For the first time, we will walk through Leamington Spa town centre to start of the Pride festival.

We debated over whether to call it a Parade or a March, but settled for March because it's rooted in protest and Pride is a protest first and foremost.

The March will leave Beauchamp Road at 11:00am, turning on to Clarendon Avenue and the the Parade (yes, a March down a road called Parade). We will then turn on to Dormer Place and move on to the Pump Room Gardens where the Warwickshire Pride festival takes place.

Applications to take part in the March are now open. Here's all the info you need.

If you are a member of the public and want to take part, it's completely free. All we ask is that you register using the form below so we know how many people to expect. But if you are not sure yet or want to decide on the day, that's fine. Members of the public are welcome to just turn up on the day and take part.

If you want to take part as part of an organisation, there is a cost for this, unless you are an LGBT+ charity or community group. Then it's free for you too.

If you are a non-LGBT+ charity, the cost is £30 per organisation. If you are a business, the cost is £100 per organisation.

Organisations cannot turn up on the day. You must register in advance and we'll be in touch to discuss it. This is so we can check your LGBT+ credentials and make sure you're not just using Pride to look good. You will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to Pride and the LGBT+ community.

The route is accessible and the March will last no longer than half an hour.

Please use the form below to register, whether you are an individual or an organisation. And remember that if you are an individual you can just turn up on the day if you want to.
