Working for Warwickshire Pride is an incredibly rewarding experience that will enable you to make a difference to the lives of LGBT+ people, as well as developing your skills. We are currently seeking a youth worker to join our team and take responsibility for running our Proud Youth service for LGBT+ people aged 12 – 18 years old.
Proud Youth is all about empowering LGBT+ young people to be themselves. You will play a supportive role, enabling LGBT+ young people to express their identity, meet new people, make friends, and work through any issues or challenges they are facing. You will also be responsible for managing a team of volunteers.
This is a fixed term role from until January 2023 for maternity cover, although there may be scope for the role continuing beyond that period, subject to funding. The role is 14 hours per week. 8 of the hours will be face to face delivery of youth work. The remaining 6 hours will be spend completing admin, activity planning, and doing other tasks related to the role.

Payment for this role is £15 per hour, plus mileage at 45p per mile and other allowable expenses.
