Warwickshire Pride will return in 2019...

We conduct a range of research projects to understand the issues facing LGBT+ people and the needs of the community. Our research could be in the form of something simple like an online survey, or something a bigger scale that involves face to face discussions.

The results of our research projects are sent to key people and decision makers, along with recommendations that we follow up on to see if things are being done to make life better for LGBT+ people locally.

Below you will see information on some of the research we have done, with download links for the relevant reports. Please feel free to contact us if there is anything you wish to discuss with us relating to any of our research projects.

To mark the first ever National Lesbian and Bisexual Women's Health Week, which took place in March 2017, we posted a health survey online to understand the experiences of lesbian and bisexual women living in Warwickshire. The survey asked ten questions relating to the experiences that participants have had when visiting health professionals. A report based on the results of the survey can be downloaded below. The report also contains three recommendations that we feel will help lesbian and bisexual women to feel more included and at ease when visiting health profesionals. We have sent the report to GP surgeries, Healthwatch Warwickshire and key decision makers in the hope that our recommendations will be taken on board.
